The chemistry used in FEYNLAB™ Ceramic Lite is very similar to the first Ceramic Coating to appear on the market nearly a decade ago. The “Lite” distinguishment is due to the lower solids content; it is, however, a fully-fledged ceramic coating.
This is an excellent product for an anyone looking at experimenting with Ceramic Coatings on their vehicles, and due to the ease of application, can be done at home. It also sets a great standard for start-up detailers looking at entering the Ceramic paint protection market as the system is very easy to apply, and the opportunity for failure is very small. It is also very economical, and punches well above its weight as far as price is concerned.
The product lays down an ultra-slick, durable, glossy and extremely hydrophobic coating.

FEYNLAB™ CERAMIC is an ultra-high solids coating that forms a lattice structure of silica, silicon-nitride and silicon-carbide. This gives CERAMIC extreme temperature resistance (up to 750 degrees Celsius), the ultimate scratch resistance, intense gloss, and magnificent hydrophobicity. CERAMIC also provides UV protection, and chemical resistance (acid rain), protecting the paint from fading for many years.
Higher solids coatings are usually much more difficult to apply, and this is a limiting factor when making these products. With FEYNLAB™ CERAMIC ease of application was one of the main targets, and is therefore one of the distinguishing factors of this product compared to our competition. It is exceptionally forgiving as dwell times are up to 25 minutes, meaning the installer can normally coat the entire vehicle and then start the leveling and buffing process, meaning the application can be done in one smooth motion.
FEYNLAB™ Self Healing technology was developed in order to eliminate micro-swirls and fine scratches which are inevitable given enough time, even with the strongest or hardest coating on the market (which we coincidentally manufacture). The inevitability of these fine scratches, even when the utmost precaution is taken, is really why this product was developed. The coating will heal itself instantly if heated to above 60 degrees Celcius, removing all fine scratches and micro swirls. At room temperature scratches will heal over a number of days.
FEYNLAB™ HEAL PLUS is ultra glossy, and improves the “depth of shine” dramatically. It is by far the thickest coating (when cured) currently offered on the market, measuring up to 10 microns (with the mean thickness ~5 microns) with a single application and up to 15 microns when layered. The mechanism behind the healing effect involves using nano scale magnets on the end of the ceramic chains, that when heated vibrate at very high frequency causing the ultimate self leveling effect to occur. It does not turn into a liquid when it heals, but rather a type of superfluid (solid with fluidic properties).
HEAL PLUS is a product that we have been developing over the last 4 years, earlier versions were released under private label, however we decided to pull this product from the market in early 2015 and no longer offer it under private label (it had it’s short-falls). The current version has gone through at least 4 generations of significant developments since then. What we have ended up with is something really special.
